TERMS OF USAGE
1 .The acceptance of a service request is subject to the payment of an advance amount as specified by the authorised representative of Les Concierges (hereafter referred to as “LC”.) The Customer is entitled to receive an acknowledgment (form / email )for any monies or other valuables handed over to an authorised staff of LC, and the customer will ensure to receive such an acknowledgment.
2. The acceptance of a service request does not guarantee fulfilment of the request.
3. LC, at is sole discretion may use one or many 3rd Party Service Providers to fulfil the service request. Such arrangements with 3rd. Party Service Providers do not purport to be that of a Principal and Agency. LC will not be held responsible for any acts, omissions or errors or consequences thereof, of such 3rd Party Service Providers.
4. LC, its staff or its affiliates will not be held responsible liable for an inconvenience, loss or damage (direct or indirect) caused to anyone by its acts, omissions or errors, in its attempt to fulfil any of the services.”
5. The customer requesting for the services of LC acknowledges and accepts that one of the primary objectives of LC is to create .convenience for its customers. As a result of this, LC, at its sole discretion, may accept requests/instructions from the customer over the telephone and any other method that does not require the customer’s instructions in writing. LC does not guarantee .to conduct security or identification checks on such instructions. Consequently, the customer accepts the risk that the LC may accept and process instructions purported to be issued by the customer. LC will not be held liable for any loss or other consequences of acceptance of such instructions.
6. In addition, to the value of the service request, LC will levy handling, vendor and other charges to every service request, which may vary from time to time, without prior notice. The customer accepts the responsibility to enquire be advised of these charges. The customer accepts to pay the full amount (inclusive of all charges), on demand by LC. LC reserves the right to prevent the customer’s use of the services and also proceed in any manner available to LC to recover the outstanding payments from the customer.
7. The customer accepts the responsibility to exercise due diligence in the acceptance of the services and to take all necessary precaution to protect life and property wherever applicable, during the fulfilment of the service request. LC will not be responsible for any loss or injury caused by virtue of the customer utilising the services of LC, its staff or affiliates.
8. Any complaints must immediately addressed to LC at: #83, 7th Main, 4th B Block, Koramangala,Bangalore 560034 , marked to the attention of the Customer Care Department or via email to services@lesconcierges.co.in
9. Your company is facilitating (permitting ) concierge services (LC to provide the services ) for (the convenience of) its employees. An employee may choose to avail the services being offered by LC at his /her own risk as to cost and consequences and neither employee nor LC shall not hold your company responsible or liable in any manner in connection thereof.
Privacy Policy
At Les Concierges, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our members. Our policy is never to sell your name, address, or any other personally identified information about you to third parties for marketing purposes. We do, however, reserve the right to transfer our member information to a buyer of our business or the division of our business that member information concerns. In the course of providing goods and services to our members, we may have to share specific information about our members in connection with that transaction. (For example, if we obtain a book for you we would have to disclose information including your shipping address, and in making a restaurant reservation, we might have to disclose your name and telephone number.)
We may collect information (ie: compile information about the number of transactions by all of our users, by category, and average dollar amount per transaction) and may provide that aggregated information to third parties, including our vendors, prospective vendors, strategic partners and technology providers.
Except in connection with the merger or acquisition of our business or one of its divisions, or as needed to obtain goods or services for you from one of our vendors, we will disclose your personally identifiable information only with your explicit permission, or when required by any applicable law, regulation, or legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect or enforce our rights or the rights of our employees, affiliates, agents and contracted service providers.

For the convenience of our members, we may obtain goods or services from online merchants. Les Concierges is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or the content of other Web sites, nor does it endorse the content or suitability of sites it uses to fulfill these transactions.
Gathering Information
In order to use Les Concierges’ services, our members must provide their details on each of our forms or when they talk to our experts on the Les Concierges hotline. Members are required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the member about services in which they have expressed interest. It is optional for members to provide demographic information (such as income level and gender), but members are encouraged to do so in order for us to provide a more personalized experience. Where an employer has subscribed to Les Concierges to provide our services as a benefit to its employees, the employer may provide some of the basic information on employees (such as name, business and business e-mail address) to shorten the application process.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When members submit sensitive information, it is protected both online and offline. We are hosted at a reputable ISP and have implemented security measures to prevent unauthorized access to systems and member data. This includes industry standard firewall and VPN products that limit access through all access points on our network.
Typically, the greatest security threat is from a company that lacks adequate policies and procedures. At Les Concierges, only the employees that need access to member information are granted access. For example, our billing clerk or a member service representative may be granted access to personally identifiable information.
Special Offers
If our members opt to do so (see our choice and opt-in paragraph below) we will provide them notice of third party retailers special offers, based on our members’ preferences and transaction history. Established members will also occasionally receive information on products, services, and special deals we offer. Out of respect for the privacy of our members we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
Choice: Opt In/Opt Out
Our members are given the opportunity to ‘opt-in’ to receive promotional offers from third parties that they may be interested in, and are also given the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of receiving notices of our special offers and services. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials from our partners may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in the email.
Site and Service Updates
We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a member’s personally identifiable information changes (such as your mailing address and zip code), or if a member no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that member’s personal data provided to us. This can usually be done on the My Profile page.
E-mails
We may occasionally send e-mails to subscribers to notify them of changes to our Terms of Use, changes to this privacy policy, as well as other important messages.
Terms of Use Agreement
Before activating a Les Concierges account or using any of our services, please read this entire agreement. By accessing our services through the Internet, phone, e-mail, or any other communication method, you are legally bound to abide by the following terms, as well as the terms of any Service User Agreement you may have signed or entered into with Les Concierges, if applicable. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms of Use that follow, you should not use our services. Les Concierges offers the premier personal assistance service to make life easier for busy people, as a benefit package to forward-looking companies and their employees or members. We use an innovative combination of technology and live human assistance to help our clients achieve more balance between their work lives and personal lives.
To better serve our clients, we request a significant amount of personal information from members. The following agreement describes the terms and conditions that apply, including your responsibilities and the limitations of our liability.
Acceptable Use
You shall not provide false or fraudulent information, such as a false name or credit card, in connection with our services. By using any LesConcierges service, you agree you are of sufficient and legal age, which legally binds and obligates you for any liabilities you may incur. In providing some of the Les Concierges services, LesConcierges may act as your agent, for example in obtaining merchandise for you that you specifically request. You agree to be responsible for the items you order.
General Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Les Concierges or any of its employees, agents, directors or officers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or any special, exemplary punitive, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, whether based in contract, tort or otherwise, which arises out of or is in any way connected with any use of our site or the LesConcierges services, even if an LesConcierges party has been advised of the possibility of such damages. If, notwithstanding the above, Les Concierges is found liable for any loss or damage relating to the use of this service, the member must agree that the liability will in no event exceed the fee or charge assessed by Les Concierges in connection with the member’s membership.
User Comments, Feedback and Other Submissions
All comments, feedback, suggestions and ideas disclosed, submitted or offered to Les Concierges in connection with your use of the service are the exclusive property of Les Concierges. They may also be used in any medium and for any purpose worldwide without obtaining your specific consent. Any comments you make on the service can be used in radio, television and print advertisements. Les Concierges is under no obligation to use your comments or name in confidence, pay you compensation for comments submitted, or respond to your comments. You agree that you will be solely responsible for the content of any comments you make.
Termination of Use
We reserve the right to access or suspend your access to all or part of Les Concierges’ services without notice, for conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believe is in violation of the law, or is harmful to another user, third-party provider, vendor, other partner or LesConcierges. We may also terminate your access for delinquent payment of membership fees.
Third Party Content
Les Concierges distributes information supplied by third parties. Therefore we have no editorial control over third party content. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers, or content that is expressed or made available by third parties, including providers of information accessed by Les Concierges, are those of the respective authors or distributors and not of LesConcierges, or its affiliates or any of their officers, directors, employees, or agents. Neither Les Concierges nor its affiliates, nor any of their officers, directors, employees, or agents, nor any third party, including providers, partners or Les Concierges users, guarantees the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content or its merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. LesConcierges does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made on Les Concierges. Under no circumstances shall Les Concierges, its affiliates, or any of their officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any loss, damage or harm caused by a user’s reliance on information obtained through LesConcierges. It is your responsibility to evaluate the information, opinion, advice, or other content available through the site and service.
No Product Warranties
All products, merchandise and information available through the Les Concierges service are provided through third parties on an “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Les Concierges, Inc. makes no warranty or guarantee in regard to: accepting all your Les Concierges shopping requests, providing you with the lowest available price for goods and services available on this site, error-free, accurate, reliable or high-quality content, or the service, advice or merchandise provided through the service. Members must agree that the use of the service is at your sole risk.
